Visions of a Cure

Adam’s Mark Hotel
What does a cure look like? Is it a young boy playing outside, running, jumping, climbing trees without a care in the world? Maybe it’s a teenager enjoying lunch with her friends, not having to worry about her blood sugar levels. Or perhaps it’s just a big pile of needles, lancets and test strips piled high in a garbage can. A cure looks different to every person because we all have different ideas, goals, hopes and dreams.
At the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), we also have a vision: to find a cure for type 1 diabetes (T1D), a disease that affects more than 3 million children and adults in the US. But with your help, JDRF can provide the support & research that will lead to a cure and help bring these dreams – these special visions – to life.
Type 1 diabetes currently has no cure and treatment can be difficult to manage for some families. But with the help of people like you, JDRF can offer the support and research necessary to bring an end to this disease.
We NEED YOUR SUPPORT! PLEASE JOIN US THIS YEAR!!
This amazing event is being chaired by Jane Pelosi and will be held at the Adam’s Mark Hotel on January 18, 2014.
This beautiful facility will set the stage for excitement as over 700 guests are expected to join us for an evening of dazzling entertainment, great food, and fabulous auction items.
